If you have a lot of purses, and I know many ladies do, you need some way to organize them.
You must be able to quickly find the one you want or find several options that will suffice for what you’re wearing, where you are going, and more.
There is little more frustrating than being almost ready to go out but not being able to find that one purse that is perfect or even any purse that is suitable. Some organization goes an enormous way in helping out.
Most of us store our purses in a closet. If you are lucky like my Aunt Sue, you can have an entire closet dedicated to just purses although most of us are not that lucky and will need our purses to share closet storage with other items, whether we have 5 or 500 purses. There are a number of specialty closet purse organizers available to make your life easier, although custom made solutions can be great as well.
Now how you organize your purses and handbags and other
accessories is up to you. You may do it by color, by size, by style, by
Spring, Winter, Summer, and Fall or however makes sense to you. We can only
point out the organizers that are out there. Even if you opt for a custom
built solution, these can help you get ideas to build or design your
ultimate storage solution!
Hanging purse organizers have always been very popular and trivial to install.
The Kennedy Home Collection 16-Pocket Hanging Shoe/Purse Organizer
is popular and can hold 16 purses or pairs of shoes. It hangs from your
closet rod with Velcro supports, is made of breathable material to keep
things fresh, and comes in a black/cream color.
Consider this for your smaller purses. If you have larger purses you may need to hang them or store them elsewhere.
It works well for smaller purses, but seems more popular for shoes.
The Jokari Purse Rack
is a popular option. It comes in inexpensive two packs.
It can hangs on any door or mount on a wall with the included hardware and needs no tools for installation.
Each strap has eight adjustable straps and is ideal for purses and more like hats, caps, and scarves.
The elastic straps fit most any size door, and it is
designed for medium sized to smaller bags. Purses like my mothers, the
size of a doctors bag, wouldn't work well here!
The Luxury Living Park-A-Purse Organizer
is a purse cubby that can sit on closet shelving, wire racks, or on the
floor.
It's made of corrugated material sort of like a sturdy cardboard and has 10 cubbies in various sizes for small to large purses.
I like it, but it's perhaps a bit flimsy, a tradeoff for it being so light. It requires some very simple assembly.
Of course there are other closet purse organizers available, but these are among the most popular.
